Graphic Artist/Designer

Job Description:

PGP is searching for a passionate Graphic Artist/ Designer who will assist and support the design team with developing unique aesthetic designs for various projects. The associate designer is expected to support the daily administrative tasks related to the design development and display a high degree of professionalism in developing and presenting the final products.

Brief Overview of Expectations:

Create detailed designs given expectations and the ability to export designs, given the preferred settings to maintain the integrity of the produced product
Ability to seamlessly work with other team members to assist in large projects
Attend client-facing meetings and accurately take notes regarding expectations of the requested project
Maintain and organize and label projects and samples accordingly for future reference
Accurately set up swatches and print packages.
Create and maintain monthly line guides
Create and report detailed CADs, Tech Packs, Construction Detail Pages, and maintain BOMs
Assist and receive sample shipments and check-into system daily
Attend designated meetings and support Lead Designer in updates

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years of prior work experience in an equivalent industry
Proficient ability to use Microsoft-based applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint)
Excellent ability to use Adobe-based applications (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator,
Exceptional ability to use design applications of choice (e.g., ProCreate, Canva, etc.)
Possess the ability to sketch and CAD design details and knowledge of garment construction needed by the designer
Strong understanding of the application of fabrications and assortment of trims
Ability to communicate silhouettes and detailed garment construction through tech pack creation and CADS
Independently complete designated tasks and projects while working from home
Exceptional time management and ability to stay organized
